This series is about Ronnie a man living at the Alps Hotel located in Seattle’s International District. Everyday for the for the past five years Ronnie leaves his apartment with a blue satchel and crosses the street to Hing Hay Park and feeds the pigeons. After observing Ronnie and the pigeons it was clear there was some level of trust between he and these feral creatures. I watched as several different birds flock to his arms and brushed their heads on his chest and across his scruffy beard. While on some level society and Ronnie have mutually rejected one another he still has found companionship with these wild pigeons.
